Profile

Gary Byrne is a Consultant in the ByrneWallace Litigation and Dispute Resolution team.

Gary is a skilled litigator who has practised in litigation for all of his professional life. For many years he headed up the firm's Employment Law Department and was Managing Partner for four years. Complex commercial disputes and High Court and High Court Commercial Division litigation require specialist teams of lawyers with the necessary resources and backup to provide clients with an efficient and effective service that meets their needs. With 40 years’ experience in Courts, Tribunals, Arbitration and Mediation, Gary is one of the country's most experienced litigators, and heads up our teams in such disputes.

Gary led our teams in the Court of Justice of the EU (formerly the ECJ) in a multimillion euro claim against the State, in one of the largest professional negligence cases to come before the Courts, in a multi-million euro pension funding dispute and other substantial cases.
