Bids/ Tenders Coordinator

The role of Bids/Tenders Coordinator will primarily involve the production and co-ordination of winning pitch and tender documents for a range of practice areas but will also extend to broader business development initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Tenders and Business Development team and Divisional Heads to coordinate and compile the content of the Firm’s tender documents and presentations.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Drafting of pitches, tenders, brochures and presentations and ensuring they are fully compliant with client specifications and requirements.
  • Managing the tender process: researching, tailoring, producing and submitting tenders to public and private enterprises. 
  • Ongoing maintenance and development of tender documents and tender library.
  • Responsibility for maintenance of the tenders / pitches database.
  • Post tender analysis and reporting.
  • Contribute to the improvement of bid processes and associated best practice.
  • Assisting to promote pro-active approach to business development initiatives and client relationship management.
  • Liaising with solicitors across the Firm on a daily basis.

Requirements 

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience of drafting and responding to tender requests.
  • Managing the tendering process within a professional services environment.
  • Experience in a deadline-driven role. 
  • Experience of managing large volumes of tenders is essential. 
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication, project management, time management, decision making and analytical skills.

Skills / Experience required:

  • Minimum 4 – 5 years experience in a corporate/professional services company preferably legal services.
  • A high level of motivation and an ability to act on one’s own initiative.
  • Managing tender opportunities on etenders from registration to submission.
  • Have good working knowledge of public procurement rules.
  • A high level of motivation and an ability to act on one’s own initiative.
  • Proven track record of success at winning tenders and knowledge of bid process
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Indesign.
  • Bachelor's Degree Level or with significant relevant business development and commercial experience
