Internship Programme


ByrneWallace LLP is one of Ireland’s largest law firms, and each June we run an Internship Programme. We will consider final year undergraduates from all areas of study, and who are on course for a 2:1 or higher, and from postgraduates from any area of study with a 2:1 degree or higher, and from postgraduates with some or all FE1’s.

Programme details

The ByrneWallace LLP Internship Programme is an excellent opportunity to gain a detailed insight into life in a full service commercial law firm, as well as getting to know the team and how we work together for our clients and each other.  

It is an ideal platform for those interested in pursuing a career as a solicitor and we use the Internship Programme to identify potential future trainees. You will work within one of our core practice areas and will experience first hand the role and responsibilities of a trainee solicitor. You will work alongside a range of excellent legal practitioners, gain exposure to interesting and challenging legal and business issues, participate in a tailored learning programme for interns, and have an opportunity to get involved in the Firm's sports and social activities.
