ByrneWallace launches nationwide GDPR Roadshow with Chartered Accountants Ireland

ByrneWallace, in association with Chartered Accountants Ireland, have launched a nationwide series of seminars aimed at assisting accountancy firms and chartered accountant professionals prepare for the new General Data Protection Regulations (the “GDPR”) which comes into effect on 25 May 2018.   

The seminars will provide a general overview of the key changes and practical guidance from a panel of legal experts from the ByrneWallace GDPR Team, as well as insights from the Regulator - Assistant Commissioner, Investigations John Keyes. Key topics to be addressed include an overview of the key changes under the new GDPR and implications; risk & breaches; contracts and marketing; and the implications for the Employer/Employee relationships. 

The Preparing for the GDPR Roadshow will kick off with the first seminar taking place in Dublin on Tuesday, 20 February to an audience of over 200 Chartered Accountants.  In March there will be further seminars in Cork, Limerick, Sligo and Galway.  For further information on attending these seminars, contact events@byrnewallace.com
