Friday, 16 February 2018In an article in the Sunday Business Post, Sunday 11 February, Employment law partner Emmet Whelan comments on the rise of the "gig economy", a term which entered the lexicon in 2015 and has been defined in the Oxford dictionary as: “a labour market characterised by the prevalence of short-term contracts or freelance work as opposed to permanent jobs.”
