ByrneWallace is advising Aminex plc, an oil & gas exploration & production company dual listed on the Irish and London Stock Exchanges, on a proposed equity funding to raise up to Stg£19.5m (US$25.4m) by the issue of new shares. The fundraising is comprised of a placing with institutional investors, an open offer to existing shareholders and a cornerstone placing. The cornerstone investor, Eclipse Investments LLC (registered in the UAE), is wholly-owned by members of the Al Zubair family, who in turn own 100% of The Zubair Corporation LLC.
