At ByrneWallace LLP, our Sustainability & ESG team provides expert advisory services in sustainable real estate and the circular economy. We assist clients in navigating the legal complexities of eco-friendly property development, sustainable construction practices, and resource efficiency. Our goal is to help businesses reduce environmental impact, comply with evolving regulations, and embrace circular economy principles to create long-term value in real estate projects.
- ByrneWallace LLP Property Department is a member of the Irish chapter of The Chancery Lane Project and was heavily involved in the drafting of green lease clauses for inclusion in commercial leases which focuses on promoting co-operation between landlords and tenants concerning the environmental performance of buildings. - We have delivered workshops to real estate agents and asset managers advising them on the content and implications of the recently published green leases clauses and how these clauses may impact their clients’ real estate portfolios.
- We advised a large investment fund on the sale and leaseback of a unit in Blackrock involving an international investor which included negotiating green clauses within the lease and advising the client on the impact of these green leases clauses.
