ByrneWallace webinar on “Brexit and Your Business – Where to from here?”

Friday, 13 November 2020

As the end of Brexit transition period approaches, and negotiations on the future relationship (including trade) still ongoing between the EU and the UK, there remains much uncertainty on what the Ireland-UK business landscape will look like come 1 January 2021. Regardless of how the negotiations play out, the end result will be of crucial importance for the Irish economy. In particular, Irish firms doing business in, or through, the UK will be strongly impacted.

To address these concerns, ByrneWallace hosted a webinar “Brexit and Your Business: Where to from here” on Thursday, 5 November.

In this webinar, Minister of State for European Affairs Thomas Byrne TD and CEO of Ibec Danny McCoy discussed the status of the negotiations, the possible shape of the future relationship between Ireland and the UK, the potential risks for Irish businesses affected, and how those risks can be mitigated. This discussion was moderated by corporate partner and Head of the ByrneWallace Brexit Group, Gerry Beausang
