ByrneWallace is delighted to support The Real Deal 2018 which takes place on Thursday, 11 October in Goffs, Kildare.

This conference will focus on critical strategic decisions faced by privately-owned businesses and aims to demystify the options available to SME Ireland. Delegates will learn from the experience of some of Ireland’s most prominent business leaders on how to successfully navigate through corporate transactions, and have the opportunity to network with other delegates.

Matt Cooper will host four panel discussions which will cover MBOs, Succession Planning, Funding for Growth and Growth by Acquisition and Integration.

Panellists will include: 

  • Management Buy-Outs / Buy-Ins - David Bobbett (H&K international), Mike Flanagan(Rennicks) and Tony McEntee (Sam McCauley Chemists).
  • Succession Planning - Paul Keogh (chairman DCU Family Business Institute), and Caroline Keeling
  • Funding for Growth - Helen Ryan (EI Director, currently a player in many SMEs and Ex CEO Creganna), David Maxwell (Boojum) and Patrick Waldron (CEO Planet, formerly Fintrax).
  • Growth by Acquisitions and Integration – Gary McGann (ex-CEO Smurfit), Tina McEnzie (Staffline group) and David Robinson (ex Valeo and currently Associate partner with Renatus).
