ByrneWallace have advised Brindley Healthcare in relation to its €10million investment by BGF (Business Growth Fund). Established in 2000 by Amanda Torrens, Brindley Healthcare now has eight nursing homes with a total of more than 400 beds. Following this landmark investment Brindley intends to more than double in size to 1,000 beds by 2020 such expansion also utilising existing debt facilities from Ulster Bank (on which ByrneWallace advised during 2018).
This investment is the first in the Republic of Ireland by BGF which is backed by the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF), AIB, Bank of Ireland and Ulster Bank.
