ByrneWallace crowned winners of charity corporate marathon row

Monday, 09 March 2020

At ByrneWallace we have a well-established Corporate Responsibility Programme, and support a number of organisations and causes. We actively participate in pro bono work, local involvement and volunteerism as well as hosting numerous fundraising events throughout the year.

These initiatives include the ByrneWallace Tax team taking part in a charity corporate marathon row hosted by No 17 Personal Training at Park Place, Dublin 2. The team was crowned champions having completed the row in 2 hours and 49 minutes.

The event raised €17,772 of much needed funds for Our Lady’s Hospice in Harold’s Cross. Our Lady’s Hospice and Care Services is a 200 bed facility providing specialist care for people with a wide range of needs from rehabilitation to end-of-life care in Harold’s Cross Hospice and Blackrock Hospice.

The winning ByrneWallace team of Anthony Smyth (Captain), John Long, Melissa Curran, Eoghan Lordan and Philip O’Leary will look to retain their title at the next marathon row.
